Nope, they needed to figure out somewhere to go! “…Well…” Skyler frowned slightly in thought, rubbing the back of his neck. “We could always get some sea salt ice cream…? That’s normally what I do when I visit here… Or we could go to the Crystal Fissure place outside of town!”

“Why not both? Grab sea salt ice cream and go check out the Crystal Fissure.” He pipes, as he been curious about checking out the Crystal Fissure. Also how long has it been since he had sea salt ice cream? It was a good thing he had earned some money from odd jobs. “Let’s go, get some ice cream then we can check out the Fissure!”

“Sounds like a good idea to me!” Skyler agreed, grinning excitedly. Hopefully there weren’t any Heartless actually around the fissure that day, but…well, they were normally the weak kind, anyways. “Come on, the ice cream shop’s down this way.” They could figure out who was gonna buy when they actually got there. Probably just their own or something.

“Alrighty.” Ven pipes, smiling brightly as they walked to the ice cream shop. Ventus wondered what the Crystal Fissure would look like seeing as he never been there. Of course he was assuming VERY crystal like. He looks over at his companion and smiles. “So we pay for our own right?” He asks though assuming it would be split evenly he rather know ahead of time.

“Sky, that’s a nice name!” He pipes, liking the other already. He didn’t have many friends his own age so he was more then happy to make friends. Though if you want to be technical he would be considered an adult. BUT seeing as he was in a coma for like eleven years he doesn’t count that.

He blinked in mild surprise. “Eh…? Really?” Well, that was kind of new… People were normally saying his name was weird, on the few times they even commented about it. Even so, Skyler was smiling again soon. “Haa… Thanks…!” the teen said with a bit of a laugh, hopping up to his feet. “Uhm… You wanna hang out?” Why the heck not? It’d been a while since he had a chance to just relax, and Ven definitely was a nice guy. He liked him!

When you have a friend named Terra which is suppose to be a girl name, and met a wide variety of people you tend be more accepting of the unique. “Yeah, is it that surprising that I think it nice?” He asks, a bit amused as he looks at the others surprised expression. When Sky offered to hang out, the young male eyes brightened up in excitement.

“That sounds nice, been a while since I’ve had someone to hang out with.” He notes, grinning at the younger male. “Any place in mind?”

“My name’s Skyler, though my friends call me Sky,” he said, returning the smile with one of his own. “It’s really nice to meet you, Ven!”

“A-Ah!” He was surprised when the older woman hug him, surprised with the gesture. When he heard the other states the room and food would be free he flustered. After all this was very kind of her to offer to a stranger so he didn’t know how to react. “O-Oh thank you, that’s really kind of you!” He states, surprised that she would offer him home and board. “I’ll try to help out when I can in my stay though. I wouldn’t want to be a burden.”

“You wouldn’t be a burden, you’d be helping me by keeping me company.” she responded with a cheery smile as she walked out now, shutting the door as she walked for her own room, she’d allow the other room and board easily. After all, what better way to combat the darkness of the worlds than to keep an open heart, open arms, be kind to all you met. At least that was how she’d come to see it.

“Hehe, thanks ma’m.” He pipes, smiling so happy to have run into such a kind woman. Deciding to shower now and then rest up for tomarrow. They could talk more tomorrow and maybe he can help around the cafe. That would be a nice way to return her kindness and her company.

“Thank you miss!” He pipes at the older female, thankful to have a place to stay for the night. Though he felt a bit bad as he was dripping on the girl floor as he had no umbrella. He goes up the stairs to the room closet to the stairs, dumping his bag on the bed. He was considering a quick shower though the other was going to come up so decided to just grab a towel and dry off.

Her footsteps sounded on the wooden floors as she knocked, “Here’s the tea.” she said with a cheerful smile. “Breakfast’ll be at ten in the morning if you’re joining me. We will discuss your fare for staying here come tomorrow For now, dry off, relax and rest some, okay?”

Ven perked up as she entered the room, smiling as he opened the door for her. Happily accepting the tea as she spoke with the charisma of a hostess. “That sounds nice, I’ve been looking for a home for a while since a friend of mines disappeared so this is a real help.” He states, even if it was just for money she was very kind and sweet.

He always seemed to have bad luck as he seek shelter at the cafe from the rain pretty much soaked. Ventus hasn’t seen Aqua in a long time and ended up wandering as he could no longer stay at her home. At least not without feeling like a burden. Though when he heard the other offering a place to stay he sighs in relief, “That would be nice.”

“Of course, straight up the stairs, pick a room. I’ll come up soon with a nice cup of hot tea. In the meantime you should dry off before you catch a cold.” she stated, giving him a rather warm smile. She got all types at her cafe, somehow she’d gotten used to the weirdness of it all.

In the novels, Vanitas’s life between his creation and the events of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is expanded upon. At first, Vanitas was a faceless being much like a Heartless but with red eyes, that felt sad for his separation from Ventus. However, that sadness soon turned to hate and contempt for what he considered his weakness. In a way, Vanitas hated himself for being so weak.

Vanitas was well aware of his existence, and soon started questioning why he was born, and every time he felt something, an Unversed would come to be. This caused him to be irritated by the fact that such a monster was born from him, so he destroyed the Unversed with his Keyblade without any hesitation; but every time he destroyed an Unversed, he himself would feel strong physical pain running through his body, and after the Unversed was destroyed, the pain and negative feeling would return to Vanitas’s mind, which added more to the irritation he was feeling and in turn another Unversed of “irritation” would be born from him.

Doctor test labor pains!

Doctor Andrew Rochford and his wife had twins a few years ago. He says: ” When I stood there next to her, I thought I understood what she went through.”

In the Australian show ”What’s good for you” the doctor and host himself now go through “labor”. Electrical impulses will create contractions in the stomach that will be like real labor pains. To help - so everything will be correct - the doctor have a mother of four who voluntarily offered to be a guinea-pig. She makes a face when the machine starts. When the “contractions” starts she says: ” Yes, that’s how it feels”. Before she leaves the room she smiles to the doctor and says; “Men can’t do this so good luck”.

A midwife and a doctor is in place to monitor the experiment. They start with giving Andrew Rochford Braxton Hicks. “Oh God”, he says and starts to sweat. When the contraction is over he relaxes. “What a relief”, he says.

Just like with a ordinary first timer the contractions finally comes more often and lasts longer. Andrew Rochford have a harder time to deal with the pain and begs for something for the pain. he gets nitrous oxide (laughing gas). After about 3 hours he has 60 seconds long contractions and 60 seconds break in between.

– “How much longer?”, he asks.

– “A first timer usually have contractions for about 12 hours, so you have 9 to go”, the midwife answers.

That’s when Andrew Rochford had enough and stops the experiment.

– ” I thought I knew what you are going through. I don’t. All talk about men having a higher threshold for pain than women is a lot of bullshit. Women, you win”, he says.

This makes me so happy.

I’ve never known of a woman who hasn’t given birth claiming she knows what it’s like or bragging that she could easily take it.

Kudos to this doctor for trying to go through this with a mother. Finally a man takes initiative and tries to find out what its like. And having been through Natural childbirth my self, I can add that it takes a lot of strength to bring a child into the world.
