“Just a little,” he admitted, shrugging casually. But that wasn’t the point now! Nope, they needed to figure out somewhere to go! “…Well…” Skyler frowned slightly in thought, rubbing the back of his neck. “We could always get some sea salt ice cream…? That’s normally what I do when I visit here… Or we could go to the Crystal Fissure place outside of town!”
“Why not both? Grab sea salt ice cream and go check out the Crystal Fissure.” He pipes, as he been curious about checking out the Crystal Fissure. Also how long has it been since he had sea salt ice cream? It was a good thing he had earned some money from odd jobs. “Let’s go, get some ice cream then we can check out the Fissure!”
“Sounds like a good idea to me!” Skyler agreed, grinning excitedly. Hopefully there weren’t any Heartless actually around the fissure that day, but…well, they were normally the weak kind, anyways. “Come on, the ice cream shop’s down this way.” They could figure out who was gonna buy when they actually got there. Probably just their own or something.
“Alrighty.” Ven pipes, smiling brightly as they walked to the ice cream shop. Ventus wondered what the Crystal Fissure would look like seeing as he never been there. Of course he was assuming VERY crystal like. He looks over at his companion and smiles. “So we pay for our own right?” He asks though assuming it would be split evenly he rather know ahead of time.

“Sky, that’s a nice name!” He pipes, liking the other already. He didn’t have many friends his own age so he was more then happy to make friends. Though if you want to be technical he would be considered an adult. BUT seeing as he was in a coma for like eleven years he doesn’t count that.
He blinked in mild surprise. “Eh…? Really?” Well, that was kind of new… People were normally saying his name was weird, on the few times they even commented about it. Even so, Skyler was smiling again soon. “Haa… Thanks…!” the teen said with a bit of a laugh, hopping up to his feet. “Uhm… You wanna hang out?” Why the heck not? It’d been a while since he had a chance to just relax, and Ven definitely was a nice guy. He liked him!
When you have a friend named Terra which is suppose to be a girl name, and met a wide variety of people you tend be more accepting of the unique. “Yeah, is it that surprising that I think it nice?” He asks, a bit amused as he looks at the others surprised expression. When Sky offered to hang out, the young male eyes brightened up in excitement.
“That sounds nice, been a while since I’ve had someone to hang out with.” He notes, grinning at the younger male. “Any place in mind?”

“Hm…? Oh, hi! Who’re you?”
“My name Ventus, though please call me Ven.” He pipes with a bright smile.
“My name’s Skyler, though my friends call me Sky,” he said, returning the smile with one of his own. “It’s really nice to meet you, Ven!”
“Sky, that’s a nice name!” He pipes, liking the other already. He didn’t have many friends his own age so he was more then happy to make friends. Though if you want to be technical he would be considered an adult. BUT seeing as he was in a coma for like eleven years he doesn’t count that.
“A-Ah!” He was surprised when the older woman hug him, surprised with the gesture. When he heard the other states the room and food would be free he flustered. After all this was very kind of her to offer to a stranger so he didn’t know how to react. “O-Oh thank you, that’s really kind of you!” He states, surprised that she would offer him home and board. “I’ll try to help out when I can in my stay though. I wouldn’t want to be a burden.”
“You wouldn’t be a burden, you’d be helping me by keeping me company.” she responded with a cheery smile as she walked out now, shutting the door as she walked for her own room, she’d allow the other room and board easily. After all, what better way to combat the darkness of the worlds than to keep an open heart, open arms, be kind to all you met. At least that was how she’d come to see it.
“Hehe, thanks ma’m.” He pipes, smiling so happy to have run into such a kind woman. Deciding to shower now and then rest up for tomarrow. They could talk more tomorrow and maybe he can help around the cafe. That would be a nice way to return her kindness and her company.

“Hm…? Oh, hi! Who’re you?”
“My name Ventus, though please call me Ven.” He pipes with a bright smile.
“You… You don’t have a home…” she whispered before she threw arms around him in a rather gentle hug. “The room and food is free… Until you can find a new place, you are welcome to consider this place your home.” she stated, her maternal instincts kicking in. “But for now, I’ll leave you be so you can get dried off and get some rest. If you need anything just holler”

“Thank you miss!” He pipes at the older female, thankful to have a place to stay for the night. Though he felt a bit bad as he was dripping on the girl floor as he had no umbrella. He goes up the stairs to the room closet to the stairs, dumping his bag on the bed. He was considering a quick shower though the other was going to come up so decided to just grab a towel and dry off.
Her footsteps sounded on the wooden floors as she knocked, “Here’s the tea.” she said with a cheerful smile. “Breakfast’ll be at ten in the morning if you’re joining me. We will discuss your fare for staying here come tomorrow For now, dry off, relax and rest some, okay?”
Ven perked up as she entered the room, smiling as he opened the door for her. Happily accepting the tea as she spoke with the charisma of a hostess. “That sounds nice, I’ve been looking for a home for a while since a friend of mines disappeared so this is a real help.” He states, even if it was just for money she was very kind and sweet.
